My Trip to Thailand 1

In 24 October I went to Thailand with my parent. We arrived in Suvarnabhumi Airport already 10 P.M. The design interior of airport looked good, I’ve never seen before. We comment is sophisticated, modern and clean! Then we met my foster brother Jay (PY’s from SSEAYP 2007). And then we went by his Camry to a restaurant called In Love Restaurant beside Chao Praia River. We ate Tom Yam Soup, fish and drink a coconut. Then we went to China Town in Bangkok and ate bird nest. After that we went check in at Convenient Park Hotel, it’s already midnight when we arrived in the hotel.

Next day, after I woke up in the morning, we went to move on Manhattan Hotel in Sukhumvit road. But we only threw the luggage. Then we went to Vibhavadi Hospital to check me and my mother’s health. In the afternoon Jay and his friends picked us and we went to Chatuchak (JJ) Market. Chatuchak Market is the largest market in the world. It is 14 hectares big. There we can find all we need from souvenir to delicious food we can find in Chatuchak Market. When we arrived in Chatuchak Market, we were having trouble in finding a parking lot. Hopefully after 1 hour, we can find it next to the market. First we bought t-shirt, bag and then key chain. After that we ate lunch in the market. We ate Patthai noodle. Then we went to Christian Hospital to visit my mother’s colleague Mr. Vichai Wongsrikasem as rice exporter from Puey Heng Long Co., LTD. He sick because bacteria infection and therapy needed more/less for 6 weeks.

After that Jay treated us with his sister and his friends to dinner at Thai Restaurant Thaling Ping. We ate Thailand cuisine as green curry; srew-pine leaves chicken, red curry etc. After we ate diner, He threw us to the Hotel and we slept well.

In the morning we woke up and feel so fresh. Breakfast at hotel restaurant so delicious and its atmosphere raise our taste.

After breakfast, we took a tour to Grand Palace and Wat Pho Temple. Royal Grand Palace is a Historical place as an old King Palace. There also have a big gold monument. Buildings in Grand Palace are always colorful. There we took a lot of picture there. It’s very beautiful place. But, the rain was falling. So we continued the tour to Wat Pho Temple. There the rain was becoming powerful. So we wait until the rain stopped. Then we went in and saw a big Reclining Buddha. Reclining Buddha is the big Buddha who is sleeping and the color is gold. It’s so big! And we saw many sign in Buddha’s feet.

After that we called our driver and went home. In the way back to the hotel, we passed Indonesian Embassy.
